Fluff for Fun and Profit
Starting now and ending on May 19th the War for Hirestel is holding a grand WRITING CONTEST for all participants (present and future) in the great war! You've come and starting playing games in this mysterious realm, and now it's time to let everyone know what your army is about! Help build upon the lore and make your mark on Hirestel! Let folks know what your warband is fighting for!
"Writing?! What is this? SCHOOL?"
You are all creative, lovely people. Writing a short story/scene involving your army is no big deal for such amazing folks such as yourselves! Not only will you be adding to the rich tapestry of our campaign, but there is profit to be had. Oh yes!
The story I deem to be the best written / most creative will win a $30 gift card to Dragon's Lair! In addition there will be 2nd and 3rd place prizes. All for a little schoolwork!
NOT ONLY THAT, but if you introduce a new character from your army into the lore, I will personally work with you to help create a brand new warscroll based on that character! Now these will just be slight variations on existing warscrolls, but this will add a lot of flavor to your already flavorful warband!
For organization's sake, all stories should be emailed to jonknapik@gmail.com. If they're posted on the Facebook group or IM'd to me, I may miss it, so those methods are not valid. And if you want to do something special and bring me a printed version (on cool paper, with dope artwork, etc.) that is fine too.
I'm really looking to see what the great minds involved in the War for Hirestel come up with!
